5Accelerated Weight Drop - Seismic Acquisition:
Rapid Geophysics has recently added an AWD seismic system to the Resistivity Tomography and RAMT Survey capabilities.
The AWD system can be used with a Seistronix 48 channel Digital Seismograph or it can be used for CCS with downhole seismometers and most excitingly, it will become the seismic source to integrate the RAMT and Resistivity Tomography electrodes together to acquire ElectroKinetics.
Rapid Geophysics offers the two main types of geophysical surveys, 2D Resistivity Tomography and RAMT 1D geoelectric sounding, and integrating them both with the AWD is the ElectroKinetic R&D project called "Cerberus".
Fast in field data QC: Rapid Geophysics has developed custom scripting to assess and generate basic imagery in the field to visualise the seismic record whilst on-site. This allows for fast review of survey line locations and make changes to survey configurations in the field.
Basic 2D processing capability: Rapid Geophysics is not an expert seismic data processing house but has developed basic 2D seismic processing capabilities to generate stacked images with basic velocity control and signal processing. This allows our clients to have stacked SEGY deliverables within 2 weeks of survey completion for fast review and interpretation.
Cerberus: Rapid Geophysics will begin R&D trials of the Cerberus EKS technique in 2024.
Press release: Rapid Geophysics was awarded one of the 2015 WA Department of Commerce Innovation Voucher for the RAMT system. The RAMT system has now taken the next step forward to offer industry a low cost equivalent for 1D geoelectric sounding.

The Rapid Acquisition of Audio-Frequency Magnetotellurics was the title of Barrett Cameron's honours thesis.
Rapid Geophysics was created with the mission to provide the industry with fast, cost effective and quality geophysical services, utilising some of the most leading edge products and technologies within the industry - many of which are developed in house, and the result of many years study and experience.
